I feel like there's some sort of Game of Thrones analogy lurking in there, Dana, but I can't quite tease it out.
I took this morning off so I could be here when my mulch is delivered. I was in theory going to be working from home, and I will monitor my email but I think if nothing urgent comes sup I will just use some vacation time and relax a little.

I wonder why I always want to call some candidates by their first name and some by their last and even some by their full name. There's the first name crowd: Hillary, Bernie, Jeb, Marco. Then there's the last name group: Trump, Christie, Cruz. And the full namers: Ben Carson, Carly F... however you spell it.

I took a sick day yesterday. I'm tired but feeling a bit better today. I'm just going to get done whatever I can, and then go home early to watch hockey.

Gud, some of it is how the candidates brand themselves--for instance, Hilary because "Clinton" already has connotations? And probably because she's trying to seem more warm and friendly? (Likewise Jeb). (Some of it is also likely racism/sexism/media drama/whatever)

msbelle, I hear you--personally I feel like lately I'm not BAD, but I'm not good either...is trying something new worth the potential that it wouldn't work and I'd feel worse? I'm hoping that once I can start running again I might be able to work some endorphins and shit. I haven't been exercising lately and I know that's bad.
Yeah, that's true. Hillary, Bernie, and Jeb all brand themselves that way. Trump is all about branding the name 'Trump'--that's all he is really. And some first names just don't work, could Christie campaign under 'Chris' or Jindal under 'Bobby'?
