My sister has a Leaf, and they really like it. The only problem is the range, and the size: it's not the car of choice for a roadtrip.

Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, butt kicking, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
Chevy has the Bolt coming out soon. It's supposed to have double the range. Tesla's Model 3 looks incredible, but it'll take years and years for them to build enough for the pre-orders.
My dad has a Leaf and loves it. But he can also easily afford to rent a car if they want to go outside of its range without stopping at charging stations. If they really want a Leaf or to wait for the Bolt, have them check out available charging stations.
We are looking at it for the around town driving we do. The state and federal rebates and tax breaks make it under 20K, and I test drove it yesterday and didn't have a problem with it.
We definitely can't wait for a Model 3, but might wait to see the Bolt. I wish I could find one to sit in since if I'm not comfortable in the driver's seat, it's easy to eliminate (I am under 5' tall, for those who haven't met me in person).
Instead of going to work tomorrow, I would like to not go to work and just watch TV all day instead.
I almost did this because my sinuses are a mess, and then I remembered that I have too many meetings today. I blew off my first meeting so I could take migraine meds and go back to bed for a while. My grump is infinite.
Instead of doing my work, I am thinking about activities to do on my staycation. I think one day I'll take the train to Old Orchard Beach in Maine, where I can walk down to the part of the beach I used to go to at summer camp and get a raspberry lime rickey. Maybe a float? I was kind of into it the one time I did it, and it seems sufficiently outside of my normal life, but maybe I should be looking for cheaper ways to spend my time.
That sounds fun.
I don't feel very good. Going for a walk outside was better, but sitting at my desk now is not agreeing with me.
Oh, I'm also going to go to the Aquarium to have lunch with my old boss who works there now, so I can make a day of that. I kind of feel like three day trips would be the right number.
That's in a week?
Yeah.
And I realize saying "float" right after "raspberry lime rickey" perhaps did not sufficiently indicate that I meant the sensory-deprivation thing! Which I can do in Somerville.
