The last time I made a furniture purchase was roughly nine years ago when I moved to Chicago. And I am moving quickly at distance, so it's a little easier to buy new than thrift, especially since I don't own a car or have the ability to carry a couch up three flights of stairs.
Dish suggestions for shrift (who did not ask for them, but I'm bored):
I really like the Pfaltzgraff Studio Aster and the American Atelier Jasmine Blue!
Now I'm torn, because I was planning to order these (they're Rachael Ray, but whatever, they're cute): [link]

Our sample sale is tomorrow. Dishes are usually $1 each, and entire sets can often be found (or made out of the pile of single pieces that are available).
I have not much to look for for me, and my family has not come through with many requests, either.
Rachael Ray is one of our brands, shrift. That is already a good price, though.
The blue and green ones Jesse? Those were from Ikea.
Yes, those are the ones! I am still using them! I still like them. Just, if I want to Buy All The Things, that's not a bad way to channel it.
I just left a rambling voicemail with my Doctor letting him know that I'd need my medical records. I'll have to run over to their office to sign a release form in the next couple of weekdays. My dentist is emailing my X-rays. I can transfer my prescriptions online.
My choices of internet providers are AT&T, Comcast, and Sonic. I need to pick one so I can make an installation appointment.
Comcast is, of course, the devil, but the other ones might be as well.
Employee price is $15 cheaper, but I think shipping is $5? Something like that. So Amazon may be cost-effective for easiness. (would be cheaper at the sample sale but then I would have to get it to you and they wouldn't be in an actual box, if they are even available)
How strange that I can rattle that all off without hardly thinking about it. What a weird thing to clutter up my brain.
I can do that with my stuff, too. Most of my furniture came from family which means it's all quite functional, but doesn't give my home much of an aesthetic. I really should look into getting my swivel rocker chairs recovered with a fabric I actually like. Or claim my grandmother's industrial machine and do it myself.
