Yes, those are the ones! I am still using them! I still like them. Just, if I want to Buy All The Things, that's not a bad way to channel it.
Natter 74: Ready or Not
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, butt kicking, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
I was planning to order these (they're Rachael Ray, but whatever, they're cute)
Those are cute.
I just left a rambling voicemail with my Doctor letting him know that I'd need my medical records. I'll have to run over to their office to sign a release form in the next couple of weekdays. My dentist is emailing my X-rays. I can transfer my prescriptions online.
My choices of internet providers are AT&T, Comcast, and Sonic. I need to pick one so I can make an installation appointment.
Comcast is, of course, the devil, but the other ones might be as well.
Employee price is $15 cheaper, but I think shipping is $5? Something like that. So Amazon may be cost-effective for easiness. (would be cheaper at the sample sale but then I would have to get it to you and they wouldn't be in an actual box, if they are even available)
How strange that I can rattle that all off without hardly thinking about it. What a weird thing to clutter up my brain.
I can do that with my stuff, too. Most of my furniture came from family which means it's all quite functional, but doesn't give my home much of an aesthetic. I really should look into getting my swivel rocker chairs recovered with a fabric I actually like. Or claim my grandmother's industrial machine and do it myself.
So Amazon may be cost-effective for easiness.
I have conflicting feelings about Amazon, but sometimes it's just not worth the extra work to take my business elsewhere.
Comcast is, of course, the devil, but the other ones might be as well.
I fear there is no good option here.
I fear there is no good option here.
That seems likely.
Dana can go shopping for me anytime. I love all those dishes (though especially, like shrift, the second and third), and believe they will go nicely with the accent wall. (What, doesn't everyone match their dinnerware to their accent wall? They totally should.)
Employee evaluation done (they like me, I am in no danger of sackage whatsoever, a small raise will eventually be forthcoming -- possibly not for quite some time, but whenever it does it'll be backdated to 7/1, so that's nice), and many onerosities oneroused, including an NIH biosketch draft (hateful) and a grant continuation with minor modifications submission draft (odious). I need cookies and gin.
You deserve lots of cookies and gin, JZ!
