I went to a lake today, but would've much rather been at a pool--I waded in the lake but it was too cold to swim in. Sadly I don't think I have any friends with pools here.

Pix, I'm sorry for your loss and I'm glad you are able to spend some time with your mom.
Some calming~ma would be appreciated. I meet with my boss at 1pm this afternoon for the big career discussion. Mid-year raise, discussion of career planning, and talking about going back to school and how to get tuition reimbursement. I feel like I have the information to back my requests, but it is still making my tummy tied up in knots. Wish I had brought my anti-anxiety meds with me.
