Laziest gardening ever: [link]
My volunteer maple from last year didn't survive multiple uprootings by passing raccoons this winter. However, these volunteers came up in its pot. I have no idea what they are, but the little flowers were nice. I can only hope that my cigar-smoking neighbor is allergic to them.
I am in the Charlotte airport, having a beer and some sushi. I don't wanna go back to work tomorrow.
I was in the Charlotte airport yesterday!
Just sold 2 chairs!!! Whoot! That means I don't have to move them back in.
Woot!
I just got a notion to make some three-bean salad with beans that have been in my freezer since last summer, but I don't have red onion. So I guess I'll make it tomorrow, because I don't see myself going to the store tonight.
ION, I'm afraid I just got the exact same phone case that my officemate has.
I made Chana masala for work lunches this week. The recipe calls for twice as much turmeric as cayenne, and I reversed the proportions. And then I remember that I was out of jalopeño, so I added more cayenne to compensate. In conclusion, whoa.
Thinking about texting my friend with a pool to trade takeout for hang time. Not that he would demand anything in trade, but if I bring food, it's less like I'm inviting myself over.
My neighbor has a pool which I have never heard him use. I wish my neighborhood was the type where people said hi and we got to know each other. I'd love to have occasional use of his pool. I could make baked good and bring beer.
