I'm now in the midst of getting my office moved. I've been in the back house with the business for 8 years now. I have just filled half of our recycling bin with shredded documents that are more than 10 years old that I don't need any more.
I'm in denial right now about the amount of work that needs be done.
I'm currently taking a break from shredding since the shredder overheated.
I stand with all of my Buffista de-cluttering comrades. We are going to go through the office tomorrow, which is beginning to look like a Hoarders episode. It's going to be a LOOOONG process.
we'd need to put up cell towers, but Buffistaville? [link]
Way to go, getting-rid-of-stuff people! I was pretty lazy today, still kind of sore and tired from yesterday (5k was hilly enough to kick my ass), just did what I felt like absolutely had to get done, but that did include taking out the garbage and recycling & cycling the cat's litter, so that is technically stuff out of the house, I guess. I plan to be more productive tomorrow. I love three-day weekends.
Huh, that's the part of the country where I grew up. I kind of miss those hills/mountains (I've been spoiled by the sub-range of the Rockies that I currently live against).
Dag - near me, the Coast Guard is selling a lot of 8 houses and the current bid is $620K. [link]
That seems like a good deal.
Paging Hec! Would you be willing to answer a few questions about pitching to the 33 1/3 folks? M submitted a proposal to them last year, which wasn't accepted, and is now wondering how best to retool/rethink it for the next round. Any chance you'd have some advice to offer?
Huh. It looks like Think Geek is selling T-shirts for $10 if you buy at least two of them (I can't see anything about a sale until checking out, then suddenly all the T-shirts are $10). Also there is a promo code 'GEEKDAY' for free shipping on orders of at least $30. If you've been wanting some T-shirts from Think Geek, it's apparently a good time to get them.
