My housemate is going to go to Minnesota in July to audition for The Voice (closest audition place and a time where he thinks he'll be ready). I've never heard him sing, maybe he sings well. Maybe he's a new version of Paul Potts, who looked like an absolute schlub and has a phenomenal voice. I doubt it. I've been neutrally encouraging, and I'm so afraid he's going to show up as one of those people that gets mocked in the early audition shows. It's great that he believes in his dreams and all that, but gosh.

Good god, aurelia. Yikes! Do you know anything?
The damage was limited to the marquee. Shows have gone on as scheduled today. I do need to go in this weekend so I might get a close-up view.
first beer of the weekend down. Things can only look up.
Wow. To aurelia.
Yikes, aurelia!
And wow, Suzi!
I have had a very successful day, seeing my father, getting a massage, buying shoes, and reading in the hammock! Oh, and grocery shopping! TCB. I mean, not cleaning the house, but there's still time for that.
The Voice doesn't really have mocking auditions. At least that I remember.
There are usually people who are decent but don't have the wow factor or who are good but have ordinary voices but it's not Amerian Idol level. Probably because you only see the contesants when they get to the judges to be voted on the show. (Instead of all the audition rounds American Idol did).
Yeah, they're pretty respectful generally.
Oh yeah, also I didn't watch this season, so I don't know what he sounds like, but this guy made it pretty far this season, so they are still willing to go on talent, not standard good looks.
He sounds amazing. He should have at least been runner up. Atlhough the runner up guy was good.
