Captain was looking for a pilot. I found a husband. Seemed to work out.

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

I think I'm 2 degrees (I'm never quite sure how that works; would LMM be 0 degrees, then the person I know is 1 degree, then me?), because I knew the choreographer in high school.

I think I'm 3 degrees. My friend Matthew is friends and went to school with Renee Elise Goldsberry. This is like an even better Kevin Bacon game.

Punishingly Intricate

Since it's both Balticon and Deathfest this weekend, should be an interesting drove through downtown! But, there's no reason to drive downtown to get to EC from your neighborhood.

It's fastest.

What about going out Gwynn Falls?

It feels like more driving. Whether it is or not, don't really know. I've gone that way when I know I need to avoid the stadium.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

I am working from home today and getting some appts for Mac out of the way. We are not so much easing into summer. The consequences for failing classes, well actually for not putting forth effort and taking responsibility, have come due and he is SHOCKED! SHOCKED, I tell you, that I plan to enforce any sorts of rules and limitations on what he wants to do.

Our wings are not tired

I think I'm 3 degrees.

It looks like I'm 2 degrees through a few people. I keep feeling like I've worked with him at some point, but I can't find any evidence of it.

Well, I'm just going by what google tells me. I generally like to go that way when I'm heading west. It's prettier.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Totally practiced a social skill just now! There is a "meet and greet" with a new person (and pie!) in the conference room. I got my pie and saw that the new person was basically sitting alone, so I joined him and started chatting (we have met already). Another person came over and I introduced them, and then gave my seat away so the two of them could talk next! I realize this is basic cocktail party stuff, but I always feel so awkward.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

And the thing that makes me give up and walk away from FB is a discussion with a friend's husband about Hydra!Cap and how silly it is to be bothered about it. It's not a flame-out, because I don't want to disrupt my friendship with his wife, especially over a comic book character. (See? I do have perspective.) I'm just weary of his paternalistic attitude.

Well, I was planning to avoid social media on my vacation next week anyway, so this was timed well, I guess.
