We have to see the chimp playing hockey! That's hilarious! The ice is so slippery, and, and monkeys are all irrational. We have to see this!

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Oh no, sarameg! I'm sorry.

Sorry about work sarameg.

Another morning without a surprise nap. YAY!

K-Bug and I are hitting up a new Persian restaurant for lunch. The place had been a horrible Persian restaurant but was taken over by the folks who own my favorite middle eastern market. Reviews of the new place have been great, so fingers crossed!

My week has had some ups and downs, but my Dad seems to be recovering very well from his heart surgery Monday so it's a win overall.

Glad to hear that, Gud!

Thrive to spite them

That's good to hear Gud!

David that last series had me bawling. I couldn't help it and the outpourting of support. Not just people offering support to Max's mother but also the fact they raised 1 million dollars for research for a cancer that doean't get research funded because it's so rare.

Which sent me into another round of tears.

It's been an emotional week.

I'm feeling nervous about the general election. While it's hard to see how Trump wins with the demographics and electoral setup as it is, I just have this gut feeling it's going to be really tight. It's going to be Hillary with her policies and facts up against Trump with his insults and total disregard for facts. That's not going to be easy for Hillary.

And the debates. How do you even debate someone with that kind of personality and willingness to just make shit up? I think it'll be very hard for Hillary to win a debate.

I'm half expecting Trump to dissolve into screaming incoherence during a debate, but I'm not sure that will be seen as a bad thing by his voting base.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

"He's just like me! That's what the White House has been missing!"

I mean, really. People liked W. because he was "folksy," which I am hard-pressed to interpret as anything other than "not too smart," which is the LAST thing you should actually want in a president.

Trump is in that same mold. You loved W.'s ignorance, well wait until you see what we've got for you in THIS election!

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Y'all are real people, right?

I've had about 40 of you at my house, so I damn well hope so, otherwise my therapist and I need to have a talk.

Trump is in that same mold. You loved W.'s ignorance, well wait until you see what we've got for you in THIS election!

I suspect there are a hell of a lot more skeleton's in Trumps closet than W had and that a lot of them will come out and bite him on the ass.
