The class I'm teaching this summer has just eight students, and two of them are veterans, and a few others are older students. I kind of love the lack of whining.
I'd rather stay home and watch television. It's often funnier than killing stuff.

So work has been enraging me all spring. Part of it is student teachers. Part of it is pressure to push kids through the system. Part of it is differing visions.
But I think, the other part is perimenopause. I was pain in the ass at the beginning of puberty and prone to extreme emotional outbursts, which is shadowing a lot of how I feel. Seems likely?

Matilda also did science fair today but there was no poop. However, a couple weeks ago she did sculpt a Poop Emoji.
Also, she got high scores on her Aerial assessment (and a lovely note) so she's moving up to the next tier.
Ugh, I'm emotionally wrung out from this week's HONY particularly the last super sad entry to the Sloan Kettering Pediatric Oncology series. Most of the stories were actually quite hopeful, but Brandon didn't pull any punches on the last one.
