Tumblr makes me feel stupid.
I actually think the reblog-to-reply-to-a-post thing is cumbersome and weird as hell and doesn't feel like a conversation. I mostly use Tumblr to reblog things I like, and occasionally post things.
You can use my Tumblr reblogs to track what I'm doing/have recently done, though, like "She just saw Deadpool...Elementary must have just aired...and now she's reading about anxiety."
Trying to have a convo on Tumblr is crazy making. But for pretty pictures, fic recs, memes, and just general fan info, I like it. There are people who clearly have news feed alerts for show things and gather every interview, Instagram, periscope, photo spread....things I would never see otherwise.
My favorite is how every time I see a picture of Allen Leech, I think, "Oh! Sue would want to see this...oh, Sue posted it." Hee.
I'm also enjoying the fact that Jack McCain's response to racists was, literally, "eat it." [link]

I think my main colleague in his tumblr fandom has moved on the Daredevil, so I am mostly it.
I should give tumblr another look-see I guess, but then again, I still haven't cottoned on to twitter, so I suspect I'm useless
I appreciate your work!
Looking at pictures of pretty men is such toil!
I have not really gotten the hang of tumblr. I enjoy my occasional browsing, though.
I thought today's dental appointment was the quick fitting for a night guard but it is actually the ore involved crown replacement. Oops. But maybe good that I didn't have any of the anticipation of a lengthy procedure?
I seriously think I'm going to start a massive unfriending or hiding of people's posts on FB until after the election, because it just hit me that the subset of Sanders supporters who ALSO aggressively hate Clinton and make many posts per day about that are not going to stop posting shitty hateful things once Clinton is the official candidate. In fact, they'll probably double down.
And I am so over it. People who I think are otherwise good, generally compassionate people (not perfect, but then who is?) have been posting the most reprehensible shit about Clinton on FB. And all I can think is, "So...you actually *meant* for people to see this? You *want* people to know this is something you're proud to claim as your opinion?"
I've become progressively less fond of Sanders as the campaign goes on, but I also don't post about it on FB. I certainly don't post hateful memes about it. And I just don't have the emotional bandwidth to deal with it any more. Because when I see the hateful anti-Clinton stuff posted, I get FURIOUS and waste too much time and energy seething about it, composing replies and immediately deleting them before I hit Post, and just generally getting all riled up.
So, I gotta start hiding/unfriending people, because I'm not going to deal with it any more. (It should go without saying that alla y'all are awesome on FB and my only real problem with any of you is that you are falling down on the job of posting cute dog pictures or videos.)
