Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I am super happy for both of them. period. fullstop. I looked at both and said, huh, maybe hope for me.

That's a good reaction!

So, I had all kinds of stuff I was going to do today, not being at work, and I didn't do shit! I didn't even go to the movies! I did just go to a community meeting, which was good, and at least I made dinner and took out the trash, but yikes.

Dude, the modestly worse amount of snot from mild allergies wreaks havoc on my IBS-less guts, I can imagine full blown allergies and IBS could only be more vile.

I got my PTO payout. I think it is right? Until they mail be a stub, I won't be confident they didn't short me.

I need to get a new digital antenna, I'm getting interference when Loki sits on the coffe table. It's from the early days of digital hd and a cheap purchase. My neighbor must've rearranged her furniture.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

Today was another narcoleptic day. Luckily work has been steady but no crazy deadlines, so a surprise nap isn't causing problems. Yet.

Because books.

Jenny Slate is also the creator of Marcel the Shell With Shoes On, which is adorable and awesome. But I'm pretty sure she's married to, I think, her co-creator of that.

Supposedly they split up not that long ago (the story broke at the start of the month).

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

I am listening to Lin-Manuel Miranda give a commencement speech at Penn. I'm a loser.

I'm also pissed about something work related and stupid.

BUT I did get to the bank to change the signers so that my GS account works out for the year.

My day mostly was analysis, chipping away at my inbox, filing bugs, and writing a proposal. And hockey.

My day was work, then a doctors appointment which was all of about 5 minutes. But he was really nice, and unfortunately was able to easily make my foot hurt again, so I'm definitely not all healed. :( But he said it was pretty much as expected, and referred me to physical therapy, which I start tomorrow! (Which is good--he was like "I want to refer you next door, but sometimes they have a long wait...let me know and I can recommend other places" but no need!) I'm still a little bummed he was so easily able to go "and if I press...HERE does it hurt?" And have me go "ow heck yes!" When I poked at my own foot I didn't feel that! Guess that's why he's the doctor.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

Turns out that taking Allegra and Dramamine at the same time on an empty stomach makes you REALLY SLEEPY. I drove to work, and then slept in my car for ten minutes before walking to the office. Oy.

Final rehearsal before our concert was tonight. And of course the director found all sorts of problems with Bohemian Rhapsody. Woops! This is going to be entertaining.

If any local Buffistas are available on Saturday afternoon or Monday evening, and you want to see a pretty fun community chorus (and free wine and food!), let me know. Tix are $10 -- but hey, free wine and food! (Cheap wine, I think.)
