I...don't know who Jenny Slate is.
My secret Internet girlfriend who is possibly dating Chris Evans unless they're just good friends.
Mona-Lisa Saperstein on Parks and Rec, starred in Obvious Child, also voice acted in Zootopia.
Also famous for being on SNL for one season, accidentally dropping an f-bomb, and getting fired.
(My relationship goals are apparently "epic teasing and slapfights with alcohol" which is why I miss having Cass living closer to me.)
SAME on the missing having Cass live closer to us.
RIGHT?!?
It ain't right, being so far.
Yep, in green, thanks for the affirmation
Had a serious meeting with my boss, upshot is good, but for categories of good that entail more work in the future.
The reward for doing good work is more work?
In relationship to nothing, my brain has been active on the following:
2 people I went to college with, one my year, one a couple of years behind me, both just announced engagements. Normally this would send me into a tailspin of I am never getting married/broken/un-relationshipable, but for some reason am not. I am super happy for both of them. period. fullstop. I looked at both and said, huh, maybe hope for me.
I'm intellectually fascinated by why, without fail, every single year, my IBS flares like a bitch when my seasonal allergies get bad. Seriously, I wonder what the connection is, and it makes me want to get my research on.
But I am emotionally OVER THIS NONSENSE. Chill the fuck out, GI tract. Just chill.
Trying to figure out what to eat for dinner, and it looks like plain rice. Bah.
Teppy, there's plenty of internet on that! :)

Also, this (ETA: Which is not related, but is interesting):
People with migraine were twice as likely to also have IBS as people with tension headache. A total of 54 percent of those with migraine also had IBS, compared to 28 percent of those with tension headache. Of the participants with IBS, 38 also had migraine and 24 also had tension headache.
The reward for doing good work is more work?
Right, like how is that motivating? I do wonder
Steph, I would suspect there's physiological explanation. I mean, aren't they both related to immune function? So maybe when your allergies are going off your intestinal lining has more problems with inflammation? And I think inflammation in the intestine is related to immune system disruption. But, uh, I would check actual research first and not rely on me, seeing as how I teach writing and not medicine.
