'suela, were these the orange honey muffins? Oh no, silly dog.
I have chocolate swirl buns in the oven right now (two dozen) and a babka rising on the counter. Which means Penny is locked outside because she is untrustworthy.
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, butt kicking, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.

Yes, they were orange honey. Nice enough, but the batch of morning glory muffins cooling in the kitchen came out better, I think. (The Countersurfer is on the porch with me right now, with the door shut.)

I have very fond memories of getting morning glory muffins at a roadside stand on the way to the beach in Rhode Island, in 1986 or so. Nice to finally make some for myself.

Excellent idea!
Finished the 5k right behind the women's half-marathon finisher. Then hit Rush Ranch for their open house. Home now and tired.
Oh man, that dog!
You guys, I had the best mani pedi today. Too bad it was at a fancy place I probably shouldn't go back to. The woman was not chatty, but was clearly into her craft - she identified by name a color the other customer had brought in with her, when the customer couldn't read it on the bottle. The salon doesn't carry that color.
Oh man, that dog!
She is going to be very put out when she gets no dinner.
And I just realized that next Sunday I won't have to work, and Sundays are terrific days to go see movies in Utah, so I just grabbed me a ticket to see Civil War. The theatre diagram was completely unoccupied, so I had my choice of seats. Yay, reactionary people afraid to do fun things on Sunday! Opening weekend movie viewing!
Okay, I bought a Fitbit Flex. Now I have to figure it out.
We also bought a light-up capital B for the living room, because it didn't feel enough like Vegas in here.
Ooh, very stately Beckmeyer manor!
31 more minutes until I'm an AURA employee...
YAY Sara!
