I am supposed to be joining -t and her mom to do a 5-k in 3 hours or so, but I've been awake with a migraine for almost an hour. I am beginning to suspect this weekend isn't going as planned.

I got a Misfit in March. It's been good for those little decisions that supposedly add up--do I go for a walk on my lunch hour, should I put another 10-15 minutes in on the exercise bike, etc. I say "yes" to those a lot more now. And I do feel better. Once the allergies calm down I might up the daily steps requirement. Right now it's at 10,000 steps a day, but I'm thinking I could incorporate more into my life. It gives some credit to unloading and reloading the dishwasher, which I find oddly validating. I scored it for ~$25 on eBay after losing my first two bids. (Who bids $75 for a Misfit? You can get it for less on Amazon.) Anyway, I like it.

found out the neighbor is getting rid of the chickens (hallelujah!)

A friend of mine just got some chickens, and they are rented! What a scam. I mean, on the part of the farm or whatever. It's kind of brilliant for the family, because they don't have to figure out what to do with them over the winter.

"oh, you're from Eugene? My girlfriend is in Eugene right now!"

5K twinsies! Or maybe just twinsies with -t and mom. I don't know if I'd try a 5K with a migraine. Though I am exhausted from my trip and it's going to rain and my sinuses ache from the weather (and I'm hoping that doesn't turn into a migraine).

Still doing the 5K, though, because it's the Flying Pig and I want that medal.

And then I am going to come home and sleep for a month.

Ugh, Lee. I hope the migraine bails and you can get some rest, at least.

Sigh, meara. Well, glad you know for sure.

It is too early to be up on a Saturday. But if I can leave the house on time, the rest of my day looks pretty good.

I went back to sleep, and then took the dog for a walk when I woke up, but I am pretty sure that is it for me and walking, for right now. it was not pleasant.

I'm glad your mom will be there -t, since I am bailing. Maybe we can walk that loop with Walter some day soon.

hahaha oh gosh I'm really sedentary. It's a banner day when I hit 5,000.

Sigh. Yeah. We just had a phone convo (way to wake up in the morning). Officially over. And mostly I'm pissed I didn't get breakup sex. I haven't gotten laid in a month!
