Book: Yes, I'd forgotten you're moonlighting as a criminal mastermind now. Got your next heist planned? Simon: No. But I'm thinking about growing a big black mustache. I'm a traditionalist.

Art Crawl!!!

It's a dull gray morning and I am feeling dull and gray.

Also: ouchy knees for which I blame the damp.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

Maybe it is like Shocking the Monkey, but more.

My boss was having some ulcer like pain, and had an upper GI and ultra-sound, and they found a mass on her liver-- so now she has to have an MRI. But they can't do an MRI until all the barium from the endoscopy is out of her system, so she has to wait a week. I couldn't take it. ANd I hope she is OK- I love my boss!

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I hope today is restful and easy, juliana.

Repulse in the sense of physically pushing away the monkey, not shocking at all.

Oh, man, waiting like that sounds very hard, Sophia! Your poor boss.

Coding and Sleeping

I stumbled across a forum where the topic was: Who would win in a fight between Buffy and Hit-Girl? At first I thought, whatever... Then I thought, I might not care about the fighting aspect, but I wouldn't mind hearing the banter. I'd give Hit-Girl the edge in a banter-off for sheer volume of profanity.

What do you think would be the greatest superhero banter-off?

Librarian Warlord

I went to 6 a.m. Bikram yoga this morning, because I there are two parties at the end of the workday for people who are escaping to new jobs, and I won't be able to get there tonight. At least I won't feel so guilty if there is cake. (There had better be cake.)

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

What do you think would be the greatest superhero banter-off?

Spider-Man (Peter Parker version) vs. Beast Boy?

Ugh, I hate coming down with a headcold just as a major deadline crunch is hitting. Not sick enough to stay home sick, just enough to be uncomfortable and working much slower than I need to be.

6am bikram? Dang, that's dedication.

I was up too late and apparently had too much to drink, though I didn't feel it--am exhausted and headachey this morning. Booooo

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Randomly, I was just saying I want to go to the Azores, and now there's a deal email in my inbox! Flights and a week at a nice hotel for $800/person! Dag.

...anyone want to go to the Azores??
