Back on the phone with the pharmacy, since I haven't heard back from either of the two doctors I've left messages with today.
And the migraine never really went away. It's a little better, but I still just want to go home and become one with my comforter. Except I have a concert this week! So no free nights until Friday.
Gud, I hope your wife isn't the one calling you an asshole. Because that's abusive as hell, and it's not okay.
What exactly is the behavior that earned you being called an asshole? The hivemind shall judge.
I dunno. Maybe I am an asshole. I try not to be, but maybe I'm just... I dunno, defective and can't help it.
Sweet Jesus, no! I think we would have noticed by now.
Gud YOU ARE NOT DEFECTIVE!
This is coming from someone who struggles with those feelings every day.
You are not defective. You aren't. Your brain works differently and maybe you aren't the husband your wife wants but that does not mean you are defective. Or a loser.
"Well, if your doctor would just stop wasting time by faxing it in..."
Am I the only person who has a hard time getting through on the phone to a doctor's office any more? They all just send you to the voicemail system, and if you're lucky, you get a call back.
I feel increasingly lucky with my medical practice -- you can get to a person in any department really easily. But I don't have any prescriptions, much less difficult prescriptions.
What exactly is the behavior that earned you being called an asshole? The hivemind shall judge.
I like this idea. We are impartial! (although at first I thought you said the Beyhive will judge, and that seemed like possibly going a little overboard.)
Gud, you are Not defective! Do not listen to the brain weasels!
ION, this is the 2nd time I have unsubscribed my father from Women's Health magazine. Argh.

That's one of the many reasons I fired my psychiatrist. I'm fine with leaving a message, but I expect a call back within 24 hours, faster if I need something urgently. A doctor's office should not be held to less rigorous standards of customer care than I am.
