Timelies all!
Long day of travel here. We are now in Philadelphia, as our agency is in Pennsylvania. The birth mother, who lives in Iowa, was referred to the agency. Since the agency doesn't have direct ties to Iowa, we dealt with local lawyer. The interstate compact from Iowa to Pa was completed yesterday, and now we have to wait for the compact from Pa. to MD to be completed.
We could have stayed in Iowa until all the compacts were completed, but we were frankly rather tired of Iowa.

I am feeling melodramatic and weepy, and then realized it may have more to do with only consuming 400 calories today, and less to do with reality being horrid. I hope. (Trying to be rational. Still feel weepy. No one wants to dance with me! What is wrong with meeeeeee??? Nobody loves me, everybody hates me...worms. Wish I had a root. Etc.)

400 calories is not enough, that would make anyone's emotional equilibrium get all fucked up.
I finally looked at the pictures from my last 5K and boy do I look grumpy! I was feeling pretty grumpy at that point, so, accurate, but not pictures I'm gonna buy. My next one is in 2.5 weeks, it will be hilly and challenging and I have not trained at all thus far. Ah well.
