My car is a 2001 with 125k or so. Planning to drive it until I can't anymore--it's been so long since I had a car payment I can't fathom it!

I'm in the same boat (car) meara, though my mileage is a bit lower.

My flight landed 30 minutes early, a new record for me going from SLC to DEN but it means CJ isn't here yet to pick me up.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

Mazda makes a Mazda 3 hybrid for the Japanese market so maybe it'll make its way here in a couple years.

Why not NOW? Sigh. So unfair.

I've got about 170,000 miles on my little Subaru, which is now old enough to vote. I'd love to replace it but I don't want to take on car payment and I don't have much cash available. Guess I'll have to wait a bit.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

I'm at 280,000. On my 2007 Honda Pilot which we bought in 2010 with less than 50,000 miles on it. And that's not all the miles we did. We also have the van, plus we did a good bit of rental and then there's the miles in the tour van, which doesn't belong to us,

Mazda opted to go with the Skyactive plan instead of hybrid. It's a very efficient drivetrain system running at a high compression ratio to burn very cleanly. On the top trim you can also opt for the iEloop system which uses regenerative braking to charge a capacitor which then runs the cars electric accessories to increase fuel economy.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I don't have a car. What I do have a new purse I bought online, and it's so nice, but it only has one little internal pocket, which is a huge bummer, it turns out.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

I don't have a car. Or a new purse. But I need a new purse.

I just realized that I have sort of conflated Sarah D. Bunting (TWOP, Tomato Nation, Previously.ev) and MustangSally(the one who wrote X-Files and Buffy fanfic), so that when I read MustangSally's tumblr, I hear Sarah D. Bunting's voice in my head.

I'm driving a Lincoln hybrid now, but at 100K or so it is starting to feel its age. I either have a wheel bearing issue, or something related to the hybrid drive train stuff (unsure but mechanic says if that is the case just trade that sucker in). So we are going to try the wheel bearing thing. I really don't want to car shop, but it may happen soon.

MIL gave me a new purse, I think that is where the last few came from too. She takes care of me on these things.

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

I have a pack of steroids, and as of this morning, a substantially lessened migraine. WOOOT.

Of course, I have a bit of a headache from the crappy sleep I got because of the steroids, but I'll take it.
