Lorne: Back in Pylea they used to call me "sweet potato." Connor: Really. Lorne: Yeah, well, the exact translation was "fragrant tuber" but…

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

I don't have a car. Or a new purse. But I need a new purse.

I just realized that I have sort of conflated Sarah D. Bunting (TWOP, Tomato Nation, Previously.ev) and MustangSally(the one who wrote X-Files and Buffy fanfic), so that when I read MustangSally's tumblr, I hear Sarah D. Bunting's voice in my head.

Our wings are not tired.

Mazda opted to go with the Skyactive plan instead of hybrid.

I'm driving a Lincoln hybrid now, but at 100K or so it is starting to feel its age. I either have a wheel bearing issue, or something related to the hybrid drive train stuff (unsure but mechanic says if that is the case just trade that sucker in). So we are going to try the wheel bearing thing. I really don't want to car shop, but it may happen soon.

MIL gave me a new purse, I think that is where the last few came from too. She takes care of me on these things.

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

I have a pack of steroids, and as of this morning, a substantially lessened migraine. WOOOT.

Of course, I have a bit of a headache from the crappy sleep I got because of the steroids, but I'll take it.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

I have a Ford Focus right now, but M wants to get a vehicle that will be more comfortable for him on long road trips, which he thinks will be our family's primary mode of vacationing. Finding an affordable vehicle that is safe, comfortable for a large dude, and still easy to park on hills (and weasel into tiny spots) is proving to be a bit of a challenge.

Subarus are definitely in the running, but they tend to be almost 16 feet long, and the Focus is just under 14 1/2. That foot and a half matters when circling North Beach, looking for a long enough parking spot.

I forgot to say - yay Dana on the lessening of the migraine! May that continue.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

I have no car. Actually, since I've lived in the city since graduating from college, I've never owned a car. Sometimes I wish I did but, considering the parking situation in my neighborhood, it's probably just as well.

Dana, glad to hear the migraine's easing up.

Jesse, you might try getting some small makeup bags and using those in place of pockets. I've done that; if you get them in different colors, it's easier to lay your hands on what you specifically want (plus, since I usually buy black bags, I find that a light colored bag makes it easier to see in the depths of the purse).

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Dana, glad the migraine's easing up!

juliana, what about a Honda Fit?

I overslept and now I feel rushed. It isn't worth it.
