Natter 74: Ready or Not
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, butt kicking, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
I got more than 4 hours of sleep last night (probably 7 or 8), but I still didn't want to get out of bed this morning.
Also, pollen can go die in a fire.
I had/have another 6am meeting start, today. Ugh.
Am contemplating trying to go to "aqua jog" tonight at the Seattle city pool. Never been there and never done aqua jogging, so a little nervous.
I slept like crap last night. I'm wondering if I need to change hotels or if I've just been off during my last couple of stays. Normally I sleep like a log in hotels. Well, I got a HUGE Chai to try to wake me up. We will see.
My meetings don't start for another hour, so I'm trying to knock out a couple of expense reports. Dang, I hate doing these things.
I had a whole long list of things to get done. Instead, we're having to powercycle the server and clean up after that.
This is why I am pushing back on what test expects from me.
Expense report, gosh dag it. I haven't done mine yet. They are not difficult, yet I hate them.
I fucking hate paperwork, ISTG. I've probably lost a couple thousand dollars in my life just from procrastinating on paperwork. And why? It's almost never hard, just aggravating. It makes no sense.
Snow, snow, leave Becky alone and come here instead to relieve the miserable hot swamp my hometown has turned into! I promise to welcome you with open arms!
I should have known today would be bad when Loki set the alarm off around 3 am.
I'm thinking that if I actually wear the "I VOTED" sticker, it'll prevent me from getting accosted by packs of campaign volunteers when I walk down the sidewalk, but probably not.
They gave out really big I VOTED stickers this year in my district, instead of the discreet little ones we used to get. I felt like it was a polite BACK OFF.
