They gave out really big I VOTED stickers this year in my district, instead of the discreet little ones we used to get. I felt like it was a polite BACK OFF.
Natter 74: Ready or Not
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, butt kicking, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
Expense report, gosh dag it. I haven't done mine yet. They are not difficult, yet I hate them.
I have finished 4, which takes me up to April. Now I just have to expense this trip sometime before the next trip and I'll feel caught up.
Snow, snow, leave Becky alone
It is beautiful in Salt Lake, but now I'm worried about my tree again. I wasn't able to get anyone out yesterday to clean up the damage. I have one branch that needs to come down that arcs toward the house. I just don't want it to fall on its own. Arrrgggg.
I fucking hate paperwork, ISTG. I've probably lost a couple thousand dollars in my life just from procrastinating on paperwork. And why? It's almost never hard, just aggravating. It makes no sense.
So much this.

Cue my standard rant about Chicago and the NO I VOTED STICKERS.
ION I've been up for about five hours and drunk most of a pot of coffee and I'm SLEEPY. I could go right back to sleep. This is ridiculous.
There was no one handing out stickers at my polling place, but apparently my "OUT OF MY WAY OR BECOME A CAUTIONARY TALE TO YOUR NEXT OF KIN!" expression was enough to avoid being accosted.
They are fixing the floor in the ladies and for some reason it involves a lot of jackhammering. The sound is giving me a serious headache. I am only being tolerant because our bathroom has been out of order for four months while we've waited for them to fix this floor. But really, the bathroom isn't that big and at least half the tile were already gone, so I don't see why it's taking so long.
I am very excited because it looks like we are booking a fancy schmancy hotel for the official Robin's 60th Birthday/Our 10th Anniversary vacation. We haven't gone away together as just us for a looong time, except for a long weekend in Vancouver. We have enough AmEX points to cover a week at the Royal Hawaiian in Oahu. It was built in 1927, is huge, pink and looks like just my cup of tea. VERY EXCITED.
Scrappy, that sounds super-awesome! and I am jelliz.
Learning webinar being taught by a person who doesn't communicate well, using as example her software which doesn't work the same as our software. Hilarity ensures. By hilarity I mean, confusion.
Oh, wow, Scrappy, that sounds wonderful!
