Timelies all!
Dunno if there's a Captain America marathon planned near me, but it's not really an option for us. If we're lucky, we'll get to see Civil War on the weekend it opens. (Thank goodness for grandparents who want to babysit the little guy.)
I went and double-checked the marathon cost - $48. I'm pretty sure the Marvel Movie one was more like $35, and was more movies, so I think I'm sticking to a DVD rewatch.
I have run out of contact lenses, so I finally just picked an optometrist near my apartment and scheduled an appointment for Saturday.
I've been failing at sleep all week, so I'm going to bed super early tonight and not planning to get to work particularly early tomorrow.
Yeah, I own the DVDs of the movies I want to rewatch (TFA, Winter Soldier, Avengers), so I can do that at home, and not all in one sitting.
Damn, I'm old.
Ugh. I had a migraine most of the day, and finally took a pill at about 1, and slept for three hours. But I still feel pretty bleh, and didn't get some work done. Boo! I'm supposed to have a first date later, and super am not feeling into that plan :(
JFC, I'm being called on the carpet for not getting testing done fast enough when 1. I've been in crisis reaction mode for ops and it was made clear to them my priorities 2. They've only got 50% of my time 3. Three different fucking project just landed on my head that only I can do and all of them and testing come to roost in May. I'm working the weekend to knock some of this off.
Gud. This is not reasonable. Why on earth did she take the old car? Why can't she take it in? What are you supposed to do if the mechanic can't find anything wrong with it?
Is she in therapy?
She even drove the old car to her internship across town today even though she could have taken the new Honda. So I screwed up big time.
Gud, take a look at those two sentences. Why is it your fault if she made a choice to drive the old car?
Sorry, that seem like a giant leap from her, as told, Gud. You guys sound like you need counseling, as you don't sound to be on the same page in a lot of perspectivey things. And communication.
Oh, and at work, I'm assigned the same volume of requirements to check as those that are 100%. No. Next cycle, pushback. I didn't learn this until later.
