I am tempted by a Captain America marathon, but it starts at 7AM at a theater at least half an hour away. If it was the one 5 minutes away, maybe.

Jesse, that's a resume for a possible bigwig? How come bigwigs don't have to update their dang resumes for the current century?
A good question! I guess if your wig is big enough, it doesn't matter?

Same. And I really would want to see The First Avenger, which will be the actual 7am show, right?
I have not found a nearby marathon option.
Gulf Pointe? NorthPark? No idea where either of those is, obviously. [link]
I mostly wish there were a just-CA, no-Avengers marathon that started at a reasonable time.
Gulf Pointe is the one down by me.
I figure Avengers and AoU will be worth it for a: punching bag scene; and b: log ripping.
The closest one to us is 23 miles away and not feasible with ltc, but wow does a whole day hiding in a dark movie theater sound like heaven right about now.
There are Things I like about AoU; I just have to ignore all the Things around them that I don't like. I need to edit for myself a new version of the movie. I want to erase everything that had to do with Barton's surprise family and everything that happened at their totally ultrasecret not-really-a-farm in rural Virginsylvania.
Some friends did that for Star Wars, which meant all six movies leading up to the new one and started at like 11 pm of the night before.

Zen is me. And Fury is suddenly all concerned and father-like about Tony? Huh? I need a Good Parts version, too. AoU was on when I was in Vegas, I'd watch up to the part of Tony going "Please be a secret door please be a secret door--yay!"
