Up until the punching, it was a real nice party.

Oooooh. Nice, msbelle.

All right, I will RSVP for the movie tomorrow. How I was leaning anyway, but y'all have kicked my waffling to the curb. Kind of impressive, I'm a champion waffler.

Can I just say I hate the NBA an awful lot right now? There is no way for me to watch or listen to the Warriors game while my DVR/receiver isn't working. Unless I go drive around to find okay radio reception. Which I am not going to do,considering I didn't accidentally hit decent reception while driving home from Tai Chi. Gah! I have multiple streaming options but they are all blacked out because....I don't know why, it makes no sense to me.

Tai Chi update: we finished the first section, hooray! And started the second. After the punch from last week it's a fade and a push and then that finishing bit that is called something but I forget the word. Then a brush knee into the back corner with palm turned up to hoist a kicking attacker up, rollback, split, baqwan fish. I'm curious what you call that one, Burrell, it's the bit where your one hand makes like a hook and you step out about 135 degrees and push with the other hand.

Food trucks were, kind of disappointing? I picked up a brisket po-boy to have tomorrow (haven't decided lunch or dinner) and while it looks good it doesn't seem particularly po-boy like. Similarly, the bao I got for dinner was tasty but more of a pulled pork sandwich. Shrug.

That's a shame about the food trucks.

I went to Sephora and spent a bunch of money today because it was the last day of a 15% off sale. And then I ran almost 5 miles (and walked half a mile each way to get there/back) with the training group. Tired!!

Next week I have three days of 6am meeting starts. Stupid east coast.

Dang. I don't know whether to hope they are all one after the other so you can get them out of the way or spaced out to give you a break in between.

Monday and Tuesday are all day trainings starting at 6am. Not sure how I'm supposed to retain anything. Friday is another training but "only" from 6-9am. ...I also have now three recurring 8am meetings (tues/weds/fri) and a 9am one (Monday's). Boo, new job. Boo.

Playoffs mean they fuck consumers even harder with the blackout restrictions they place on streaming options, in my experience with the NHL. I'm guessing the NBA site probably has some sort of gametracker that will give you radio options to stream online.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

I'm curious what you call that one, Burrell

It isn't ringing a bell, but my brain is fried. I thought I was going in to meet with maybe 3 students today. Almost 10 came to office hours and I was there a good hour and a half past when I'd planned. I can't tell if that is good because it means they like me, or if it means I'm a terrible teacher because I can't get my ideas across during class. Hrm.

And my poor boy came home from school sick but we are hoping he'll feel good enough to go for at least part of the day since they are taking the big 5th grade culmination photo tomorrow.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Monday and Tuesday are all day trainings starting at 6am. Not sure how I'm supposed to retain anything. Friday is another training but "only" from 6-9am.

That's just rude.

{{Burrell}} We'll compare notes later. Hope the kiddo gets in the picture.

Ugh, meara, that's some aggressive scheduling.

I could have listened to the game but that required updating my stupid flash and that process finished up pretty much as the final buzzer sounded. Sigh. Ah, well, live and learn.

I'm just saying, if I can convince someone to go with me to see it before we use those tickets, I'm definitely going for it.

Well, if you want to come out to Vallejo Saturday @ 5, let me know.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

So the New Workflow will be in place after this weekend's software update. The training for the New Workflow has just been scheduled, for Tuesday afternoon. That means I'll be working in it all day Monday and half Tuesday and will have already figured it out before I get trained. Besides, they already showed us what the new screens would look like in last Wednesday's meeting. But this is better than their old method of rolling new software: mention the change the morning it goes live and let us flail around and figure it out ourselves.
