Glad he's home, Consuela. But argh on the lack of instructions.

Oz has a mouse trapped under the china cabinet. I should probably get in there and try to get the mouse before it's a snack, but I don't think Oz's hunting game is very strong.

...And the mouse managed to escape into the closet.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Nothing worse than a cat who's a bad hunter.

You may want to consider tossing the vermouth. It doesn't keep.

Oh, is that right? I've had a bottle in my fridge for years, so maybe I'll just toss it.

While she's no Audra McDonald, the voice of Siri followed me on Twitter. Do we know her? I haven't figured out why she'd follow me.

She follows me too.

To be fair to Oz, I'd have never known there was a mouse in the house, if it weren't for him sniffing in corners for the last few days. But with my previous cats, usually the first sign I had of a mouse, was finding their dead bodies.

This also means I have to check the outside of my house for places they are getting in.

Our wings are not tired.

I hope you are bundled up, Sheryl! Enjoy and keep warm.

Well, both bottles of vermouth are unopened. So that's promising?

Sadly, they're dry vermouth, not sweet. I don't like martinis, but I do drink the occasional manhattan, but I can't make one with dry vermouth. Shall have to experiment with other cocktails.

No phone calls during the night: yay.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Consuela, you can pretty much use it as you would white wine in any recipe.
