Wash: Psychic, though? That sounds like something out of science fiction. Zoe: We live in a space ship, dear. Wash: So?

To be fair to Oz, I'd have never known there was a mouse in the house, if it weren't for him sniffing in corners for the last few days. But with my previous cats, usually the first sign I had of a mouse, was finding their dead bodies.

This also means I have to check the outside of my house for places they are getting in.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

At the airport, waiting for our flight.(we're flying to Buffalo and renting a car)

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

Well, both bottles of vermouth are unopened. So that's promising?

Sadly, they're dry vermouth, not sweet. I don't like martinis, but I do drink the occasional manhattan, but I can't make one with dry vermouth. Shall have to experiment with other cocktails.

No phone calls during the night: yay.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Consuela, you can pretty much use it as you would white wine in any recipe.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Yeah, it's really handy for deglazing and other things where you only need a small amount and don't want to crack open a whole bottle of wine.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Wheee, financial milestone! For the first time in a decade I've cracked five figures in savings. That'll change once I pay for my parents' flood insurance and my vacation this fall, but it does reassure me that I'm not entirely following the Grasshopper plan of adulting.

Go, Matt!

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Wow, Matt, that's great!
