Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

That's extremely cool, Hil! I wonder if I'll ever work up the nerve to try calling...

Ooh. That sounds fun. I would talk to a random swede.

Made it home, and once I landed had a couple group texts from two friends, one of whom is having gf drama...and was at the airport waiting for a flight! So I ran over to her gate and gave her a hug. Aww. Then hit the grocery store and now in bed, planning to read a little and hopefully get up early and go to my new coworking space before my 8am telecom (ewww)

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

If you click the "local numbers" button on the Swedish phone number page, it gives a number to call from the US so that it just gets billed as a regular call within the US, rather than as an international call.

I'm also curious about the graph showing where the calls to Sweden are coming from. As of right now, 23% have been from Turkey.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

I want to talk to a random swede! And I want that castle/monastery.

While she's no Audra McDonald, the voice of Siri followed me on Twitter. Do we know her? I haven't figured out why she'd follow me.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

So Dad is home. Yay. But the hospital, despite being told that the ALF needed very specific instructions, did not, in fact, include very specific instructions. No orders regarding Dad's food, or how often he needs oxygen, or how he's supposed to sleep at a 30-degree angle.

Argh.

My sister & I emptied out his liquor cabinet and stole most of his food (he's not allowed nuts or raisins anymore, just mushy food). Anyone have any idea what to do with two bottles of dry vermouth?

Off to email his GP so she can issue the orders.

You may want to consider tossing the vermouth. It doesn't keep.

Glad he's home, Consuela. But argh on the lack of instructions.

Oz has a mouse trapped under the china cabinet. I should probably get in there and try to get the mouse before it's a snack, but I don't think Oz's hunting game is very strong.
