If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

That's an awesome gift. (Matt's, not sarameg's.)

Librarian Warlord

Congratulations on the offer, sara! That is fantastic to hear!

(Sorry about your systems.)

I love getting those kinds of gifts -- my mother actively scours garage sales and we always end up with something like that for Christmas.

Last night Tom Angleberger was at our local library for his new book and the Children's Room was filled with boys who wanted to loudly discuss the plot holes in all the Star Wars movies. I shushed one of them, like the Librarian Warlord I am. We get so many great kids authors coming through, and K's collection of signed copies is growing. Also this Spring: Mac Barnett, Sophie Blackall, Dave Barry and Ben Hatke.

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

Boy, there's nothing I like more than being in a meeting with bickering coders, arguing about things I don't understand.

Now don't you wish you had some cats to check in on?

Oh, I lost the cat battle ages ago. Both Ramses and Joe DiMeowgio have visited, though I didn't see them.

Me too on Joe. And Guy Furry apparently stopped by last night for the first time.

I'm not buying anything else until I have my yard expansion.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Oh man. The husband of my mother's best friend at the nursing home just died. That is going to be such a bummer for my mom! (I mean, sad for their family, too, but it's been a long road for them already.) But that's her daily lunchtime buddy!

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

::hugs Natter tight:: I got behind and couldn't catch up for a few days, so here's a nano-meara

Health~ma in a variety of directions

I'd rather find a nabe where nobody gives a shit if my grass is tall. I want bees and butterflies and wildflowers, not perfectly manicured grass.

We should be neighbors, Zenkitty.

I think I will wait for the homeowning conversation to come around againto add my thoughts, as they are both fungible and complicated.

Terrific news, sarameg!
