I dropped Sleepy Hollow last year when they whitewashed the cast and pushed romance forward of the plot. They may have backtracked on that, but working partnership friends or comrades is so much more interesting to me than another fricken romance.
We're watching Peggy Carter every time it airs, Arrow (and Blue Bloods, 'cause David Ramsey), Flash, and Criminal Minds. Loving The Magicians. I'd watch it twice a week if they could film that fast. Agents of Shield, Elementary, and Grimm, in spite of ourselves. Grantchester, we're about to start S2 of Daredevil. H loves NCIS--I tell him between that and Criminal Minds (and the original CSI with Wm. Petersen), he just likes crimesolving by old white guys. He doesn't argue with that.
Shows I'd pay money for new episodes of? Almost Human, Firefly.
Shows I was bingeing or have warched before but have't finished/caught up on:
Kimmy Schmidt, OITNB, Daredevil, Nurse Jackie, Hannibal,
Shows I should be watching, but haven't yet: Mr. Robot, The Magicians.
Yes on what Scola just said. I think this summer will be a lot of library DVD use.
Work has been stressful so I've been mainly binging on cosy mysteries like Poirot. Other than that Peggy Carter and Sleepy Hollow were my only weekly regulars this winter.
Agents of SHIELD, random stuff on PBS I catch if I'm surfing by and am intrigued, mostly DVDs of old British shows with the occasional Stargate: Atlantis and Avengers cartoons. I seem to have lost my patience for letting new series develop enough to catch my interest.
I completely forgot that the
Magicians
TV show was a thing. A thing that I want to watch. Is it available anywhere else besides Amazon Prime?
I finally finished
Parks & Rec
a few weeks back, and M and I just started watching
Community.
We're on S1E6 and loving it.
Sue, I feel like I need to drag you into some of the trashy pretty shows I watch and we could commiserate over the pretty on skype.
I did indeed take a walk! Super nice weather.
M and I just started watching Community. We're on S1E6 and loving it.
The first 3 seasons are utterly wonderful. I love that show so much.
The show I rewatch most is Time Team out of England, Tony Robinson and a bunch of bitchy archaeologists doing fun things with history, mocking each others' preferred time periods, complaining about how long it will be till they get to the pub that night, and loudly debating what the blob on the geophysics or the dark splotch in the dirt in the pit means. They're my favorite background company.
