Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

My condolences, Liese. What a blessing that you could be with him.

Our wings are not tired.

Peace and comfort, Liese. It is indeed a blessing that you were able to be with your father.

Scrappy, so excited for you! Have a blast.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Kill 'em, Scrappy!

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

Boring board meeting is boring. Send tacos and booze.

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

In that order, Steph?

I'd go with booze first.

I am OVER it today. I have to go on a field trip tomorrow. I am not looking forward to this.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

My condolences, Liese.

Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

Knock 'em dead, Scrappy!

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Thanks, y'all, I appreciate it. Ima get me some quality msbelle/Daisy Jane time on Thursday, and I have lots of great support, including youse guys, so we're all doing pretty well. The SO will join me in a couple of days and then a few of Dad's siblings will be coming in from Hawaii for the funeral, so we're going to have some good family time. We've decided to cremate and then will take his ashes back home to Hawaii sometime in a year and a half or so (so heads up, my island or island-inclined Buffistas!) which will be nice.
