I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

Tom! Free time!!! Go hug strangers! Go run screaming through a park! I am full of ideas for your free time.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

Do you have to lean your head back to look at the screen, though?

I don't. But it probably depends on your set-up. I've worn bifocals so long I don't notice switching between the different focal points.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I DO literally spend hours just looking at a computer! I really need to make more of an effort to do that 20-20-20 eye resty thing.

Hooray for free tome and not overly long review meetings! I don't really understand our review cycle - our self-evals are due in March, but the actual review isn't until May (adding to my perennial confusion about all this, my unofficial anniversary of when I started temping here is also in March, and my official work anniversary is in June, neither of which have anything to do with anything review-wise, but muddy the waters in my head nonetheless)

Oh, I bought myself a donut this morning and I haven't eaten it yet, Good job, past me!

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I DO literally spend hours just looking at a computer!

I get interrupted, get up for water, and go to the bathroom a lot. The last two are connected.

I often pause from looking at the computer to looking at my phone. But I don't think that counts....

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

I'm sorry, Liese. I'm glad you were there.

My condolences to you and your family, Liese.

Huh. My review cycle for last year is supposed to start...huh. About the time they hopefully won't be my employer & I'll have a new one?

I have second floor plumbing! And the roofer came out just as I was signing the bill. I should have an estimate for that later today.

Punishingly Intricate

So sorry for your loss, Liese. That's good you were able to be there.

Yesterday I was working in DC so my evening started with 1.5 hour drive home. It wasn't too bad of a commute because we didn't leave the office until 6:30, though. Also, my friend drove so I could just chill in the passenger seat and talk to her about communication strategy so I can also charge that commute time! Then Bob made dinner so I got to sit on couch with a glass of wine and get fed while I sent out donation request letters to all my linkedin contacts. So, yeah, I've got it pretty easy I guess.

A 10 minute trip to the DMV seems like god smiling on you. If you believe in god, of course.
