Doesn't matter that we took him off that boat, Shepherd, it's the place he's going to live from now on.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

That was DH's grandmother's kugel, too, Burrell. And he loved it and was kinda afraid to eat it for the same reason.

That sounds like an excellent schedule, shrift.

Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

Did someone say nap?

shrift, for not fitting in with any of your previously-planned plans, that plan seems totally workable.

Punishingly Intricate

I started a thing and a friend sent an email to connect me and a guy who does work she thinks would interest me so I've sort of accomplished a little bit. Although the second thing took zero effort on my part (at least today).

That kugel sounds delicious and supremely comforting, Burrell.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

I have done a load of laundry, gone out for breakfast (after skipping dinner last night a banana wasn't going to cut it), paid my rent, renewed my tags, put the charged-up emergency jumpstart device in my trunk, and carted an old television set and 100 lb. electric typewriter from my parents' place to a recycling center. I'm not sure there's much more productivity left in me today.

I just emailed the move coordinator to go ahead and schedule me for Thursday.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

Go shrift! With all that scheduling, have they given you a better idea of a delivery date?

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

It continues:

Someone just called me on the phone. To read me an email. That she was writing to me. That she wanted to read to me before she emailed it to me. Because reasons.

That is just not normal.

ETA: Wait! I left out a step. First she IM'd me to ask if it was okay to call me.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

shrift in San Francisco. It just seems so right. From way over here, anyway.

I overslept. Late to work by an hour and a half. Trying to catch up. Angry author is still angry, I'm passing him to my manager. People are asking me questions I don't have the answers to. People are scheduling me for meetings I don't want to attend. Just discovered some work I let slide and now it's probably going to be late. So burned out.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

First she IM'd me to ask if it was okay to call me.

Ah ha ha ha!
