Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

It seems ridiculous, but I'm sort of celebrating paying off a student loan?

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

And if I make a purchase on the card, apparently they will send me a $100 gift card, so I'm practically making money!

Librarian Warlord

Peace to you and yours, Liese.

My niece and her soon-to-be-husband found out yesterday that they will be doing their medical residencies at Ohio State U. Look out Columbus, they will eat all your Graeters, and vote for the good guys.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Liese, tons of ~ma headed your way. I'm so sorry.

TCG has an all day conference today. So, I'm not getting my normal Saturday break from baby care. When he gets back, we're going to take ltc to the Easter Bunny.

Because books.

Love and strength, Liese.

And if I make a purchase on the card, apparently they will send me a $100 gift card, so I'm practically making money!

That's logic I can really get behind.

It's snaining out. Brian and I were halfway to the store and it just started plopping down. Messy.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

I finished my taxes, and I'm getting a refund of about $2000! Almost all of which will be sent to my parents to pay off the moving expenses that they paid for. Getting closer to not owing anyone money!

The status is NOT quo.

Holding you in my heart and thoughts, Liese.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Getting closer to not owing anyone money!

Yay! It's a good feeling, isn't it?

Looks like I'm not going to Florida this summer after all, because my friend and traveling companion's place was trashed in the big explosion in Seattle and she can't afford the trip now. I don't want to go without her. So now I'm trying to think of something else I can do for my birthday, without spending much money, in case she's able to go later in the year. I've finally learned that being alone and doing nothing on my birthday makes me feel sad and pathetic, so I'm making plans for it in advance this year. Isn't that excellent self-care? I think it is.

If anyone in Seattle knows of cheap housing available now (as opposed to, when the kids leave school) please let me know so I can pass it on to K. Even a small place; it couldn't be smaller than the studio she's leaving.
