My new coworker confessed to me that his initial career plan was to be in a death metal band. Apparently at some point he realized he was the guy who followed people around the house with coasters and told them to be quieter at parties, and became a librarian as the gods intended.
Natter 74: Ready or Not
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, butt kicking, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
I like that guy.

I bet he does a lot of air guitar in the car. Or drums. Then smiles faintly at the teenagers trying to be punk.
Someone just asked me if I know anything about "Project Shield" that apparently my work is doing. I was like "ARE THERE AVENGERS?!?!?!?" I'm afraid the answer is no, though.
Then you don't need to know anything about it.
Of course there are Avengers, but are you Level 6? Or any level at all?
Y'all. I was showing my co-worker who knows Tai Chi what I've just learned in the hopes of, you know, not forgetting it entirely and another random coworker was walking by, stopped, and asked me if I was okay. Because that's how graceful and in control I look, presumably.
Aw, death metal librarian. Sweet!

Crap. I mean, I hadn't even heard of Project Shield, so I guess I'm probably not Level 6.
It was a clumsy trap meant to see if you were a Hydra plant. Kudos for not falling for it!
I have a rousing evening of paper shredding to look forward to, but it will clean out a largish box I discovered in the living room. Soon it will be possible to walk all the way around the coffee table! And then--seating space on both sofas! Then, after some clearing of the floor and one more box . . .
The kitchen. t roll of thunder and ominous chords
Sending recovery~ma to your father, lisah, and congrats to your mom
I am wearing green today because I love to wear green even on days when wearing green isn't a thing, but I don't have any investment in other people's wardrobe choices. Although I will say nice glasses, Matt!
