Man, so, like, I called a friend out on how he only wants to talk when he's unhappy...and he apparently thought about it and has changed his ways because we just had a good long chat and there was no whining in it at all! I didn't know that would work! I did it kind of jokingly (and may have been slightly tipsy at the time) so I didn't think he would a) remember or b) take me seriously, but hey, go me for defining what I need in a relationship a little better. My conservative family members and the better educated and more thoughtful end of my conservative high school classmates in Alabama and Georgia AFAICT almost all voted for Kasich. I hardly know any Trump supporters, thankfully...but almost all of my family and friends I'm still in touch with from down South have at least a bachelor's degree.
