You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Thinking good thoughts, Bonny.

Does losing Ohio slow Drumpf's roll at all?

Some analysts posited that it might actually help Trump. Because with Rubio gone (CUE THE HAMILTON GIF) it gives Kasich a reason to stick around and keep splitting the not-Trump vote. So Trump loses 66 delegates now, but he may pick up more than that in delegates he might've lost to Cruz head-to-head (and denies them to Cruz, who remains his strongest rival).

I'd say things remain sufficiently chaotic that it's hard to determine just what effect this is likely to have.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

I've been vibing for you constantly, bonny. I'm torn between sorry the news isn't better (and cursing my clearly insufficient vibery), relieved that your new GYN is so good, and sympathy-shuddering over the blood draw.

All this, me too, bonny! Fistbump for holding it together during the blood draw. I had a transvaginal ultrasound a couple years ago to check for fibroids. It wasn't fun, a little triggery, but it wasn't nearly as bad as I'd been anticipating. I hope this all works out to be nothing to worry about.

Chris Wallace on Fox News has told Karl Rove: "Congratulations, Karl. You got Ohio right this time."

Compassionately intolerant

Big hugs to everyone!

JZ and Zen, thanks for the vibery...without it, things might have been much worse!

I should be so lucky, Zen. Apparently, things are...um...closed for business, which makes me worried about possible pain but I'll just grit my teeth.

Fistbump for holding it together during the blood draw.

Cheers.

I wish-o-wish I could talk my body out of reacting the way it does, but given how I might have processed my experiences differently, I've just got to be okay with this enervating outcome.

It's time for bath and bed.

Sincerely, I deeply appreciate all the good thoughts. I haven't been talking much about this in meat space and it is a gift to not feel alone with it here.

Well, I'm not a campaign consultant or anything, (if I ever am, I want you to hold a pillow over my face until the twitching stops) but I think if Trump was anyone but Trump everyone would be saying he has the nomination all but wrapped up. If almost all the Rubio supports flock to Cruz, then maybe Trump collapses, but I have no idea how Rubio's support will split or even if his supporters will just stay home. One would think Cruz's best base of support would be the South and the South has already mostly spoken. CA has some sort of hybrid winner-take-all system so if Cruz can dominate there, maybe he picks up most of the delegates... Ah hell, I don't know what will happen.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Me too, bonny. You're in my thoughts.

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

Sending kind thoughts, bonny.

Dear God, Trump or Cruz...

The most mind-boggling thing about this whole race is every single GOP candidate went on and on (rightly) about how unfit for the presidency Trump is, but then turned around and said they'd support him if he was the nominee (though they've starting hedging their bets a bit recently with the violence at his rallies), thereby completely throwing their own credibility out the window. If a single one of them had the balls to stand up and say "Hell no!", we might be looking at a completely different race.

not your mom's socks.

Quick resolution~ma Bonny. Am thinking of you.

DH's recruiter says he should hear back from a place he's been interviewing tomorrow. We have all our digits crossed. Meantime I leave for Orlando then Cambridge then Richmond tomorrow. Parents of DH are visiting (bless them) but ack I want to be here.

Also we showed HPF the first half of Contact tonight and may have to change her name to EleanorArrawayFan. Also Consuela and Metafilter conspired to make my day. Thanks C!

After the utter mess of the GWB presidency and their behavior during Obama's presidency, why on Earth would you expect anything else? When was the last time you saw the Republican leadership put country over party politics?
