Does losing Ohio slow Drumpf's roll at all?
Well, I'm not a campaign consultant or anything, (if I ever am, I want you to hold a pillow over my face until the twitching stops) but I think if Trump was anyone but Trump everyone would be saying he has the nomination all but wrapped up. If almost all the Rubio supports flock to Cruz, then maybe Trump collapses, but I have no idea how Rubio's support will split or even if his supporters will just stay home. One would think Cruz's best base of support would be the South and the South has already mostly spoken. CA has some sort of hybrid winner-take-all system so if Cruz can dominate there, maybe he picks up most of the delegates... Ah hell, I don't know what will happen.
Me too, bonny. You're in my thoughts.
Sending kind thoughts, bonny.
Dear God, Trump or Cruz...
The most mind-boggling thing about this whole race is every single GOP candidate went on and on (rightly) about how unfit for the presidency Trump is, but then turned around and said they'd support him if he was the nominee (though they've starting hedging their bets a bit recently with the violence at his rallies), thereby completely throwing their own credibility out the window. If a single one of them had the balls to stand up and say "Hell no!", we might be looking at a completely different race.
Quick resolution~ma Bonny. Am thinking of you.
DH's recruiter says he should hear back from a place he's been interviewing tomorrow. We have all our digits crossed. Meantime I leave for Orlando then Cambridge then Richmond tomorrow. Parents of DH are visiting (bless them) but ack I want to be here.
Also we showed HPF the first half of Contact tonight and may have to change her name to EleanorArrawayFan. Also Consuela and Metafilter conspired to make my day. Thanks C!

After the utter mess of the GWB presidency and their behavior during Obama's presidency, why on Earth would you expect anything else? When was the last time you saw the Republican leadership put country over party politics?
Mwah, Sox! That was very fun, I was just sad I didn't get to be the one to answer the question!
Bonny, good luck. If you have any spare ~ma, send it my way -- still don't have my biopsy results. May email my doctor tonight...

I don't know. I keep hoping that some point they'll start behaving like rational human beings again. No matter which way you lean politically, this country needs (at least) two sane political parties to challenge one another while doing what they honestly feel is best for the country.
Unfortunately the GOP has seems to have abandoned everything but the challenge part.
Bonny, I'm holding you in my heart.
Thinking of you Bonny. All digits crossed.
Best thoughts for you too, Suela.
