Thanks for all the good thoughts. The appointment today went okay. The new gyn is MUCH better and was pretty upbeat...but she found a mass that requires
a transvaginal ultrasound
. She wanted to schedule the test for tomorrow, but it probably won't be until the end of the month.
The blood draw was fairly typical now that I've mastered the sheer strength of will strategy for dealing with my phobia. It took forever, but I was able to keep it together until the very end. The phlebotomist was very kind, but quietly alarmed. I went into the bathroom to cry for a while and was able to get a healthy dinner afterward. Given that I had been fasting for 18 hours, it really is a miracle I didn't decompensate.
My right arm is useless to me right now and I'm as weak as a kitten, but this round is over.
Keeping you in my thoughts, bonny. And my best friend is a doctor who is always happy to answer medical questions so let me know if I can pass any along (also, given how close by you are, let me know if you need specialist recommendations because she's good for that too.)
Thank you so much, lisah. I will definitely ping you. I really thought menopause was a piece of cake for me. This current stuff is causing confusion and sadness. I have tons of questions!
Does losing Ohio slow Drumpf's roll at all?
Well, it increases the chances of a brokered convention...
I've been vibing for you constantly, bonny. I'm torn between sorry the news isn't better (and cursing my clearly insufficient vibery), relieved that your new GYN is so good, and sympathy-shuddering over the blood draw.

This. Plus, right now in Missouri, Cruz is only 0.5% behind Trump. So Trump might not win Missouri, either.
Been sending good thoughts to you all day Bonny. Thanks for the update. Good to hear you like the GYN. Quick resolution ~ma.

They really are reaping what they sowed.
But who is left to siphon off votes from him? Cruz and Kasich? I don't see it happening
Thinking good thoughts, Bonny.

Some analysts posited that it might actually help Trump. Because with Rubio gone (CUE THE HAMILTON GIF) it gives Kasich a reason to stick around and keep splitting the not-Trump vote. So Trump loses 66 delegates now, but he may pick up more than that in delegates he might've lost to Cruz head-to-head (and denies them to Cruz, who remains his strongest rival).
I'd say things remain sufficiently chaotic that it's hard to determine just what effect this is likely to have.

All this, me too, bonny! Fistbump for holding it together during the blood draw. I had a
transvaginal ultrasound
a couple years ago to check for fibroids. It wasn't fun, a little triggery, but it wasn't nearly as bad as I'd been anticipating. I hope this all works out to be nothing to worry about.
Chris Wallace on Fox News has told Karl Rove: "Congratulations, Karl. You got Ohio right this time."
