I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I have not been Raptured. FTR

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I am here! I actually made a recipe for lunch, which is very unlike me. It's not that great, but used two things from my CSA, so that's good.

Also laundry!

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

No Rapture for us, but we went to see TV on the Radio in Century City last night, and man they rocked! They put on a good show, especially considering it was for free.

Ugh Rebecca, so hard to know how to respond to that kind of comment. Well okay, it's not the comment even, it's the worldview, and knowing how widely that worldview was shared.

Ok, I have said goodbye to my sister a little earlier than planned (she had a friend offer to give her a ride back to Indy, rather than take the bus, and she's really sick with a horrid cough, so wanted to be home). But now it's 12:30, I'm checked into my new hotel room, and I am feeling lazy. I don't want to do any work (though I should) and think I will work out later this evening. What to do with my afternoon? I feel as though I ought to go tourist, but the idea makes me tired. (It may just be that I need to digest brunch for a while)

if you can't take a post-brunch nap when you are on vacation, when can you?

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

I would totally take a nap in that scenario.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

I am finally listing a few more things on etsy.

mac and will be spending the day doing an hour on and an hour off. chores/free time.

I made him do some reading and some reading camp homework during part of church, so the part he was mostly likely to fight me about is already done.

Dropped stuff at goodwill and on the way home, it occurred to me that there's probably another box in the basement. But I haven't gone to check.

Next up: when is bulk trash day?

Well, normally I might try to go get a massage at one of those foot-spa places, but I got a big cut on my foot yesterday, so that's out. Went shopping yesterday also, so no room in the luggage. Nap may be the answer. And fancy dinner somewhere, I guess?

Our wings are not tired.

The Otter Lake Fire Department had a fund raiser Pancake Breakfast. We went. We ate. Then I built a brick and stone wall in the part of the fence that Zoe thinks is her secret exit. And working work stuff. All and all, way lots of action today so far.
