For my cats the actual tending to is minimal, it's the cleaning up after that's the big chore.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Have given the little guy a sponge bath, which he didn't much like. He is now sleeping in the crib.
Basically, our weekend mostly revolves around him. That's life with a baby.

My sisters are the worst. They're always welcome here, but the one thing I ask is some advanced warning. They just called me, already on the road, to tell me they're coming to town. First they said they were staying with my cousin, but then sprung "I think we're going to stay with you tomorrow night." at the end of the conversation. I have been trying hard not to lose my patience with them, after some particularly bad visits home lately, but WTF?
