In other news, Christie announced he's running for President. Is everyone officially in the Republican clown car now?

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Is everyone officially in the Republican clown car now?

Apparently!

Ugh, Maria. Good luck.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

I tried to post in the old thead...ooops.

Maria - I'm sorry work isn't seeing how amazeballs you are.

Oh Burrell - I hope the new vet has good news for you.

Jack is at the vet right now to get chipped and to get a thing on his face looked at. He had been nipped (no broken skin) by one of the other rescue dogs before we adopted him and the site has slowly swollen over the last couple of days. The rescue is picking up the tab for this visit.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Oh shit Maria. You have really been through enough.

Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

Is everyone officially in the Republican clown car now?

Has Jeb officially announced, or is he still in the exploratory stage?

I'm sorry work isn't seeing how amazeballs you are.

Me too, though I think it's less about that, and more about how I'm just one person covering the entire country, while our major competitor in the government space has offices in every mid to major metropolitan area. And the fact that they're not willing to cut their margins enough to compete.

Edit:

You have really been through enough.

We all have. I'd like a break for all of us.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Punishingly Intricate

Sorry Luna isn't well (poop-wise at least) but I hope this is a good opportunity to get a new and much better vet! That's great they could see her pretty quickly.

Meh, Maria, I'm sorry. That's bullshit. Feel free to come down here anytime and we can try to figure out what we want to be as grownups together, over grownup drinks!

Jack sounds great, Suzi! Can't wait to see pictures.

I promised myself that I'd take, and finish, an online class or two while I'm on sabbatical so yesterday I signed up for 2, one of which is a dog cognition class. Fun! Part of the class, that's optional, is getting your dog to participate in some tests. I'm not sure if that will work. I've found out since I've been home a lot more that my hound dog is VERY SERIOUS about her couch to floor to couch nap schedule.

Ann, that's a ferret.

Good luck, Maria.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Oh, goodness. So much Tuesday today. Good luck to everyone with their job craziness, and to all the pets, and especially very glad Tiny Winter Soldier is home and doing well.

I've been doing really well on my new antidepressant regime, and I just wanted to report that. I feel so much better. Depression is an evil sickness because it makes you not realize how sick you really are until you finally start to get better.

From the Old Thread,

My coworkers and I are playing Bible or Metal Verse over lunch.
I got 16 out of 16 on this delightfully disturbing little quiz, thank you Bible-heavy education and heavy-metal-loving friends and family.

I think I've made a new friend. All on my own. Friend-friend, not make-out friend, which is what I wanted. (To clarify, I wanted the friend-friend. Not ready for make-out friend.) We have tentative plans for her to come to my house to play board games in a couple weeks, so now I have real incentive to clean up my house. I hope this works out into a real friendship. Also, a friend-of-a-friend that I've known for a while may be interested in becoming more of a friend-friend, and that would be dang nice too. I've lived in this town five years, it's about time I got out of my shell and started making friends.
