"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

Vortex Health Follow Up - Went back to discuss tests with doctor. Blood work and CAT scan all normal. No explanation for said symptoms, but I will hydrate more in the future.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

Suzi, can you not get the boarding pass on your phone? With the QR code?

Not with Frontier. I sacrificed, went out for dinsum for dinner (don't judge) and stopped for ink on the way home.

Vortex - glad it is nothing and hopefully was a one time strangeness that dares not show its head again.

Today is CJ's 19th birthday. He spent the day hiking with a friend - climbed one of the more challenging 14ers and had dinner at his dad's.

The text message I got from him after I wished him a Happy Birthday? "Thanks for birthing/tumor removing me". (He was a c-section). Such a sweet kid.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

I kind of hope Peanut shows up earlier rather than later, so we can start celebrating on Halloween and keep it going through her birthday.

Nov. 1 is an excellent birthday.

Comic Sans makes my brain hurt.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Glad you're all okay, Vortex!

The coffee I ordered has arrived. Valhalla Java, by the same folks who make Death Wish coffee. Tomorrow should be interesting.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Glad to hear it, Vortex!

went out for dinsum for dinner (don't judge)

I judge! I judge nom. Mmm, dim sum.

How do you normally take your coffee, Zen? So I can calibrate your review of the coffee^2. For science.

Normally I make a pot of coffee with two scoops of regular arabica, pour a big mug, add Splenda, a teaspoon of sugar, and enough half-and-half to make it creamy and light. I don't like the taste of coffee; I just drink it medicinally. Today's coffee was a "light roast", so I used three scoops, and then made a second pot (three scoops again) with half a pot of leftover coffee in the reservoir with the water.

Random things people have told me lately that entertained me:

Friend of a friend who I rarely see told me I was someone she follows on Facebook because she finds my life interesting. I think she's pretty cool, so that made me happy--because of course, I have those people too, and it makes me smile to know I'm that person for someone!

Then at dancing a guy (who is a good dancer) told me after dancing with me "you've gotten very dancey! I mean, you were always dancey, but you've improved" and it made me giggle because I knew what he meant, but describing it as "dancey" is not very articulate.
