So now you've gotten strong recommendations from everyone for all three colors for a metric shitton of different reasons. Possibly we are the opposite of helpful.

I like hearing all the differing opinions because my interior decorating as an adult has been haphazard and this is helping me think it through. I don't know that I have a particular skill or talent at it, mostly because this is my first opportunity to really decorate from scratch. I know I want bright colors, but I want those colors to go with each other and not clash or be too busy.

I have to make all these choices about what I want, which is fun but also overwhelming.

My decorating is white(ish) walls to reflect light, then lots of book cases filled with colorful stuff.

Vortex Health Update:

Not dead. Slept like crap because I kept waking up to make sure I wasn't dead. Went to Urgent Care. They took some blood and sent me for a CAT scan. I have a follow up appointment tomorrow.

Thanks for the help, hivemind!

Although the nurse line 911 thing is kind of de rigueur. If there's a chance in hell, they tell you to call 911 as a CYA measure.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Hope all went well at the doctor's, Vortex.

I am amused at the idea of waking up to make sure you're not dead, but I would totally be doing that too.

Burrell, I've found that naproxen sodium (Aleve or its generic counterparts) works better for my migraines than other OTC stuff. Only downside is if it doesn't work, you have to wait 8 hours before you can take any more NSAIDs or Tylenol.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

I feel extremely blessed that Excedrin works for me.

Heatwave. Pool at capacity. But the guards waved me in since lesson lane was free if I was willing to share with lesson. Was told I was to be"getting stroke training" if asked (because at capacity means for non-lesson people.) My pool people like me.

Yup. Also, after a day of camp and then tons of kids, guards really wish they could fill the pool with lappers and aqua aerobics. They wanna zone out and not be yelling and fishing out over adventurous littles. If they can tip numbers to the boring swimmers, they will.

I don't begrudge all the families seeking cool respite in the pool, but that many heat cooped up kids, they are wild and exuberant and really a pita to manage. Just is. Summer.
