Yay raise! Tough call on the two job thing. Could you do something closer to directing or otherwise more to your liking with the time you spend at the theatre now?

The trick is to find something on a bus line. I am just lucky right now that the theater is a five minute walk from my day job, and directly on a bus line. I am not quitting this year, anyway, and I will get a chance to network with the new directing mentor for the one-acts (I am the design mentor)-- I went to college with him, and he works full-time in theatre in Rochester, so that might lead to something if it goes well.

OMG can any of my accounts be simple this week? Just the one that isn't active, apparently.

Performance Improvement Plan. I have 60 days to get 25 orders in the system. That's going to be difficult, considering this is when the manufacturers mostly shut down production to switch model years.

A small ray of hope is that they want to transition me to another role if they can land this huge deal. But that's not guaranteed.

I just want to curl up and cry, but I have work to do.

Oh, garage says my battery was low, and the tag says it was bought in 2013 (maybe what I am remembering as buying a new battery recently is something else - cables or connections or something) and they are charging it up and will test it once it's charged. Be nice if that's all it is, though it would be nice to know what drained it, also.

Ina nay case, I think I will take an actual lunch break and get away from my desk for a little while. Because argh.

Maria - it seems they know you are valuable if they have a back-up plan. At least that is my rose-colored glasses read on it. Plus, they would be idiots to push you out.

Work is trying its hardest to drive me crazy. One of the programs I need to use keeps kicking me out. I've done all my tricks and it keeps doing it. I've checked with others who use the program and so far no one else is having the issue. Yes, I've rebooted. I wish I could just put this off, but it needs to be done today.

Garage says battery was just out of juice, like I had left something on. I can't imagine what, unless a door was ajar and the dome light was on? Whatever, they aren't charging me and my coworker is giving me a ride to pick up my car, so yay!
