It's good to have cargo. Makes us a target for every other scavenger out there, though, but sometimes that's fun too.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

Yes, Rebecca, I'd like an option on the DVD for the non-shaky-cam version of that.

Like, his level of rage at Steve for not telling him about Howard (this was a mistake on Steve's part: and no, he didn't know for sure it was Bucky, but you damn well better bet he suspected it and that this played into his choice to stay mum) is directly informed by his illusions about Steve Rogers.

Mr. Scola’s wardrobe by Botany 500

That's what I was trying to get at when I was so confused about Secretary Ross being the one who pitched the Sokovia Accords. Is that mean to imply that the Sokovia Accords is just a huge hypocrisy, because Ross is guilty of that very thing, or are they trying to show that Ross has redeemed himself in a way that Stark wishes he could? Or is it just that they had contractual obligations with William Hurt, so why not just stick him in the film?

Suela, I can almost wank it as Tony having been involved early as the representative and just not telling the rest of them.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

I remember fandom feeling like the Avengers got away easy after the whole Wakovia thing and I'm glad that was fully addressed in this film.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

I thought what Plei just posted.

also, SO MANY WOOBIES. There needs to be lots of blankets and soup administered. poor broken/damaged woobies. If they bring Fitz into an Avengers film I MAY DIE.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

And now I have checked Tumblr, and I think I'm going to be mentally defending the hell out of Tony for a while. Without actually getting into anything on Tumblr, because that would be not good for my sanity.

The thing is, that is totally something Tony would do with the best of intent and without input. Even after Ultron. Because Wanda was not wrong about him there.

Dana, a lot of people are doing that not just mentally and I am having to stay off Tumblr so as not to engage from the other side.

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

oh and the camera work almost made me motion sick.

I said this on FB somewhere, but -- I thought that was just me! Our theater had an enormous screen (the biggest I've seen short of an IMAX -- and this wasn't IMAX), and to really take it all in, we should have been in the back 4 rows (we weren't). So the camera work -- especially in the first scene -- was impossible for me to follow, and made me nauseated and a little bit headachey.

I agree with everyone who says this feels more like Avengers 3 (or the movie Avengers 2 *should* have been) than a Cap movie. (Or even Iron Man 4.)

I can't even express how much I want acknowledgment/flashbacks of Bucky and Natasha.

Finally, I'm amused at how many fics begin with Tony and Pepper on a break. This movie had that! It was right there waiting for fanfic, damn it!
