I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

Guardians was my surprise movie of 2014. I expected Cap2 to be good, and it was. But I had no expectations for Guardians of the Galaxy, and I enjoyed the heck out of it. Groot is my favorite.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

We are Groot.

All is well that ends in pizza.

Indeed.

brillig

I'm watching the animated Captain America Iron Man: Heroes United, and the opening credits are in nearly the exact same style as the closing credits of Winter Soldier. And the music is darned close, too. Fortunately I like both, but it's very intriguing.

Danger is my middle name, only I spell it R. u. t. h. - Tina Belcher.

In fact, I don't think that anyone besides Steve Gerber on whatever drugs he was on in the seventies has ever really gotten the character.

This is so true!

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

I am up to ep 8 in Daredevil. Liking the hell out of it. But oddly, when I go to start a new ep I am pausing it after a bit, going and doing things. It's definitely not obsessive making like other shows have been for me. Might be my current state of mind, unclear.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Sometimes when I like things a lot I have to step away for a bit, to process it or something. If I'm just eh I can watch the whole thing in a marathon because I'm not retaining it.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Yes, that was me with Daredevil, I would pause between episodes to fully absorb.

Compassionately intolerant

At AwesomeCon this weekend, Peggy Carter was clearly the go-to costume of choice. And lots of Caps.

And, now that y'all mention it, I did not see one single Daredevil the whole time!

One guy looked so much like Joss that, had he not been too tall, I'd have been confused. His wardrobe was perfect and even his smile. He had a Romanov and Hawkeye with him. She was perfect, but the Hawkeye dude was much more handsome than Jeremy Renner.

I'm a bit abashed that I kept thinking "why are there so many Carmen Sandiegos running around? Is that character even a thing anymore?"
