Well, a gathering is brie, mellow song stylings; shindig, dip, less mellow song stylings, perhaps a large amount of malt beverage, and hootenanny, well, it's chock full of hoot, just a little bit of nanny.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

"Oh, hey, I'm married with two kids and one on the way and a farm in the boonies! Suddenly useful plot twist!"

I'm mostly handwavy with things I don't like in the MCU, but that Sudden Useful Plot Twist made me grind my teeth. I could rant like a nerd about why, but I'll spare you.

Given the traditional vulnerability of spy families, it just seemed too blasé of Clint to say "Oh, Fury promised me they wouldn't be in any of the records." And I know what the fate of that family was in the comic books.

It would have been funnier to try and hide them all in a ratty apartment building in Bed Stuy--though we would have missed the wood chopping scene.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

The only Ultimate that is not a STUPID ASS CHOICE is Ultimate Spider-Man.

He's got a good cartoon, at least.

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

The Spectacular Spider-man cartoon was way better. (Still bitter.)

The Ultimate Spider-man comics were good, though.

Netflix has confirmed a Jessica Jones 2nd series, and there are rumors that it's considering a Punisher series. Makes me wonder if they're ever going to get around to Iron Fist.

Yay! I raise a bourbon-based drink in Jessica Jones' honor.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Now that was the best fight sequence I've seen on TV in a good long time.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Are you people watching the Captain America special? At the very end, someone's saying something about how there's "always a Captain America," and the b-roll under that is MLK, Amelia Earhart, a guy I didn't recognize, John McCain, and Harvey Milk. Now THAT is covering some bases!
