GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

Side note, props to Fitz telling Ward to grow up when he suggested Fitz might want to shoot Will. That was the perfect response.

I think it was just the right amount of brutal. Very satisfying.

Coulson has some dark in him. Fury's right hand man didn't get there without going to some very murky places. I was afraid he'd try to drag Ward back to "justice", and I was all the way with Fitz yelling "Leave him!" I knew Ward either had to die or have a major change. I wasn't counting on both.

It tied in nicely, the thing probably couldn't leave Will until Will's body was dead, and I never thought it would grab Coulson. I figured it telling Fitz that Will died saving Gemma was the clue that it couldn't grab a form unless the other form was dead.

Self-saving Gemma for the win! She's got a fearsome "You are in so much trouble" face.

Lash is very single-minded. A castle full of Hydra baddies, and he rips open the pods to get to unconscious Inhumans.

So, pieces in play--the Hydra baddie with his new Ward-zombie with Phil's hand, the portal bits under the castle, Lash on the loose. That was a lot of stuff to pack into half a season.

It's be kind of cool if they went back to the planet, possibly for some way to stop Zombie!Ward. It would be much safer now that the thingie isn't there. And there's that city to look at.

when i die, please bake my ashes into a brick and use me to hit fascists.

The number of times I shouted "SHOOT HIM IN THE HEAD!" at my teevee is a little troubling.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Even when we saw Inhuman!Ward at the end, I *still* thought it had just assumed Ward's form rather than actually possessed his body. Tim had to explain it to me. I am kinda dim sometimes.

Apparently I am too because I thought it had assumed Ward's form too. As it had assumed Will's form. Or a random astronaut's form.

It was a very eventful last five minutes. When Ward gave his whole "I HAVE FOUND MY PURPOSE" speech, I thought...oh shit, he's going to die. I mean, this was a perfect opportunity to kill him, there was so much logical reason to kill him here, but as I've said, I do love him as a villain. So when Coulson finally killed him (and I didn't realize what he was doing until he disposed of the murder weapon), I thought it was just and appropriate, but I was going to miss Ward.

AND THEN AHAHAHAHAHAHA I'M SO EXCITED.

Side note, props to Fitz telling Ward to grow up when he suggested Fitz might want to shoot Will. That was the perfect response.

I loved that.

I figured it telling Fitz that Will died saving Gemma was the clue that it couldn't grab a form unless the other form was dead.

Does this mean that final scene in the previous planet episode was actually Monster! Will? Aww.

(Also! I liked that Joey got to go on a mission and help out and be bulletproof!! Okay, show, you've got your first gay POC superhero, don't kill him off.)

All is well that ends in pizza.

AoS: Well, they got rid of Ward...just not the actor.

So Hydra thing is a Goa'uld...

Well, they did come through a stargate wormhole, of sorts...

So Hydra thing is a Goa'uld...

That's what I was thinking, especially as it wiggled out of Will.

And all the points to Gemma, who didn't say "What happened?" or "Where is he?", just flung her arms around Fitz.

Yeah, Gemma knows her boys wouldn't have left Will behind. She may ask for details later, but having Fitz and Coulson safe is more important.

It took me a second to really figure it out when you could see Will's leg bones that he was actually dead, not just the thing looking like him.

I wonder if that's how the HYDRA "sacrifices" started: sending through a constant supply of fresh bodies for it to inhabit as the previous bodies rotted away. Otherwise, I'm having a hard time figuring out the purpose of sending people through on a regular interval when you haven't learned anything new on how to bring it back.
